ShredOn Mag introduces Now Snowboarding
Some time has passed that we’ve been talking about bringing some changes in here and everything, but we haven’t forget about that at all. Within certain things on our to-do list, it also includes to network with other people of course. Since actually quite a time we’ve been down sending e-mails and talking a bunch of stuff with a crew from Breckenridge, Colorado called Now Snowboarding. Finally we also managed to talk some more serious stuff with the dudes and are happy to tell you people, that we officially team up with that bunch. That means that we’ll not only support each other’s stuff on the online basis, but also feature some more content about the things the guys are up to throughout the season and might work on some future projects together.

Mark Hoyt landing the cover on 'Snowboardíng Colorado'
Now Snowboarding is a pretty real snowboard bunch. Not that we would mind other’s out there not to be, but these heads are different. They try to give something back to the people. From a few snowboarders who knew each other riding in Colorado, they came across each other in Breck and assembled sort of a crew, starting to film with 4Reel Media and Stept Productions for their projects. Pulling off their own collective, the crew included back then Mark Hoyt, Colin Spencer, Alex Dean and Ian Smith, all focused only on one thing and that was going to snowboard and get as much shots as possible, which also brought the idea to get the first sled and everything quite soon after moving in together as one fam. A few rad appearances in some local movies but that still wasn’t quite what they wanted.

Spotchecking with Colin and Mark
The idea was to drop a website in order to show their riding to everybody and soon the crew came up with the name Now Snowboarding and the website got built. The first („Monthly Banger“) edits were made and got a great feedback so that the dudes continued shooting and hooked also up with some more local crews from Breck.
What started with a crew dropping their own edits on their website and progress their riding, continued to be also kind of a smaller platform for other crews to get their edits -when being rad- on an online show if you want to call it like that.
Among the years also Mark Kelsic and Seth Hill joined the guys and they welcome now Ricky Bates, Joe Mango and Dash Kamp to the crew as their latest additions.
So where is Now Snowboarding going?
“As for now, we continue to find the best edits from around the world and share what we call snowboarding to the world. We have been fortunate enough to meet a lot of interesting people in the snowboard community and as a core crew we support those who follow our same passions and styles. Now Snowboarding wants to see what it is that you call snowboarding and we want to see it now.” Ian Smith says.
You can’t put a cap on Now Snowboarding and so far there are no limits set. Right now the crew is up to add some new features and pages to the website. A web series is on top of their list and also some travel trips are planned for the next season.

Ian Smith on a nice trick tip feature
This season the guys will still be filming some stuff with Stept Productions and 4Reel Media, along with various other film crews that they each have their own personal projects with. Along with getting shots for the movies, they have been making some webisodes lately, as well as hosting other crew series and movies from around the world.
“We encourage people to send us their own snowboard videos and episodes that they would like to get on the site. Tune in to Now Snowboarding and let us know what it is that you call snowboarding” Ian continued.
The website is always “under construction” kind of, due to plenty of new ideas and content the dudes are thinking of, so be sure to find there a in any case big established „audience“, which is growing frequently and stay tuned for more. Or check out their Facebook and become a fan to peep their stuff on the web 2.0!
