Quiksilver Spring Battle | March 30 – April 2

Since 2003 the Spring Battle at the Absolut Park in Flachauwinkl, Austria has been growing and growing and is definitely a tight competition, where the European elite of snowboarding competes. Beside the big names, will be also the young guns showing up to prove their skills and mess with the pros on this TTR 4 Star Event.

„I have been already five times at the Spring Battle and it is each time a must to go there. Most impresses me the rider friendly atmosphere, the Chalets and the unique mood here during Spring time. Especially the huge park setup, stokes me each time!“ said Werni Stock (AUS), one of the top riders in the lineup. An absolute highlight in this year’s competition, is the new judging system. The best out of three runs of the riders in the superfinal, decides on the Final party on screen, who wins. Video judging system, that’s right.

Furthermore, there will be in the Chillhouse miniramp of the Absolut Park, the „Cash for Tricks“ session going down.

„As park sponsors, we have been already convinced several times of the flair of this contest, in the last years and are excited to introduce a new Era on a new level, in the Absolut Park at the Spring Battle“, said Quiksilver Marketing Manager Armin Weber.

Absolut Park director Seppi Harml is also quite stoked: „Being the organizers, we are absolutely excited of the huge upgrade by the Spring Battle for the Absolut Park. Due to our partner’s support and in first place Quiksilver and the Snowboarder MBM, we are able to make lots of ideas become real and applicate them. Especially the video judging and the skate contest are two new features, which really flash me“.

Such an event wouldn’t be that good without some outstanding music acts. Cashless contributes the certain dosis of good punk music, which is followed by Tedy O & Steadybeatz DJ Set, who are known from the Tony Hawk Show and the Air & Style in Innsbruck.
