2012 Grandvalira Total Fight – Andorra
The 4 Star TTR Grandvalira Total Fight is back for his 2012 edition. From March 22-24 the Pyrenees will be hosting solid freestyle snowboarding at the El Tarter snowpark. Kim Rune Hansen (NOR), Ville Paumola (FIN), Ville Uotila (FIN), Nuuti Niemela (FIN), Valterri Paunonen (FIN), Clemens Schattschneider (AUT), Queralt Castellet (ESP), Nico Fuentes (ARG) and Janne Lipsanen (FIN) are some of the riders who will compete on that weekend in one of the best snowpark in Southern Europe. It will be excited seeing Ville Uotila competing this year again, considering that he won the Total Fight, the last four consecutive times in a row and apparently feels more than comfy riding that park, which ain’t as hard as he might used to ride parks back home in icy Finnland. Get ready for a great weekend of Slopestyle snowboarding.
The snowpark consists of two main lines. The „Big Jump“ line consists of 20m jump, followed by an 18m transfer jump, another 15m kicker and a jib section to round it off. The second „Central“ line is the more technical one of both. Beginning with a step-up-step-down box, it is continued by a 16m jump, a step-up kicker and ends with a job section.
