2013 KTO – Kaunertal Opening Upgraded
As already mentioned on some posts before: Wether you believe it or not, but summer is ending and our long awaited 13-14 season is approaching, step by step! As you’re aware of, with new season starts there also comes a shitload of Opening events, such as the legendary Kaunertal Opening in Austria, that goes into round 28th (!!) in this year on October 11-13th. Some slight changes, that we rather more would look at as a pure upgrade for the event, are more side activities and new collaborations with new partners, as there is for example with the heads of Blue Tomato, that will offer you more testing material than you can look at really during this year’s KTO. Besides the Rail Session, the Open Park (indeed open for everybody) and the AM contest, also the pro contest has got some news for you and will be pushed with some more grants of ca$h money for your pocket and buddies at the bar later, in case you should be really able to beat some of the big name pros that are invited, but not really named yet by the organizers ironically -great, I know.
The preparations are in full swing for this year’s KTO event and it will be for sure 3 days of snowboarding mayhem wether you shred, or take a break at the mini ramp to skate, or take a chill during some of the movie premieres of Pirates Movie Production, Aestivation and more (tba)!
