DELAYED: Yuki Kadono wins Air & Style in Beijing
There’s plenty of stuff coming out these days and it is quite an inconvenient timing for certain stuff right now, since we’re relocating, struggling with the usual x-mas stuff and extra work all at once basically. As you already know the 3rd edition of the Asian version of the Air & Style event (presented by Oakley and Shaun White) went down last weekend and brought some surprises. Such as the 16-year old young Yuki Kadono (JAP), who is from now on the first ever Asian winner at an Air & Style contest and also the very first one to win this prestigious contest with a Triple Cork: BS Triple Cork 1440 Mute ..what the hell. Coming from a huge 24 rider lineup, Yuki battled his way through all the heats and finally could made it in front of Peetu Piiroinen (2nd – FIN :: 93,33 points), Ståle Sandbech (3. – NOR :: 92,00 points) and Mathias Weißenbacher (4. – AUT :: 34,33 points) on the top podium spot. Congrats!
