Rest In Peace Tom Sims

Sources report that former Snowboard World Champion, Skateboard Champion and Sims Snowboards founder Tom Sims, passed away due to a heart attack yesterday on September 12th. Tom Sims wasn’t only a champ or a brand founder, but also back in these days responsible to pave the way for snowboarding in times where our sport was in a complete different spot than it is today. He especially paved the way for freestyle snowboarding in the early days by sponsoring Terry Kidwell and before that was already one of the first persons to build a real snowboard.
