Saturday’s competition may have come to an end, but the party carried on in the Total Fight Village. First up a Red Bull sponsored BMX demo by Red Bull rider Vicky Gomez followed by an acrobatic parapont show. These demos have come to form an important part of the Total Fight’s identity, as they embody the festival’s celebration of the freestyle spirit.
A highlight of the evening’s activities was without any doubt, the Total Fight Night Jibbing session, held on the El Tarter carpark’s mythical rail, it was only introduced last year, but it’s already turned into a real crowd pleaser. German rider Sebi Müller came first thanks to his incredible style and creativity, his tricks (Stalefish Lipslide, Sitch FS Out, Nollie Tailslide 270 Out and a BS Lipslide 180 Out) drew massive cheers from the crowd below. Müller was followed on the podium by Juan Polanco (SPA) and super creative jib machine Gerald Fuchs (AUS).
The jibbing session ended to the pumping sounds of the San Miguel Night Music Total Fight Concert which was just getting warmed up to introduce The Right Ons and Crappy Tuesday. The gigantic tent pitched in the carpark for the occasion, was full to the brim, with people dancing inside and outside into the small hours of the night.
