Julian Wilson signs with Nike 6.0

Since a few years, Nike was introduced in the action sports market with a new brand: Nike 6.0 (6 sports | Surf, Snowboard, Wakeboard, BMX, FMX, Freeski).

Even though they’re quite “new”, they grew very quick, due to an enormous marketing budget. In order to be represented internationally and to prove its ability to do a good job, Nike built a huge team in each one of these six sports they cover.

Nike 6.0 has reinforced his surf team with probably the most promising rider for the next years. Julian Wilson.

Wilson was member of the international Quiksilver team and has signed with Nike, after his qualification on the ASP World Tour 2011. Julian reinforces the team, which is already quite impressive and which continues growing: Michel Bourez, Kolohe Andino, Nat Young, Kai Barger, Charlie Martin, Carissa Moore and other new recruits are part of it.

Nike has always been taking care of its people, so they do with the action sports young guns, showing it by a massive contract, which gives them  1Mio US $ per year!
